Blogs

While i was reading the overview of the assignments, i was looking at the links one of them being 2 cent  a blog by a man named David Warlick. I was browsing some of his past blogs, and they seemed very informational. I liked how he had different things i would never expect to see on a blog page. He has a cool Tag Cloud. I think that would be fun to have on my blog. I am going to attempt it soon. I think this would be good for a classroom. I would use it for like spelling word that would take them to a different work page on a blog. I would even link questions pertaining to a book or subject that would expand on information on the subject. When i was on Teacher Tube I was also exploring some of what the teachers where talking about. Some of it was interesting. I liked that they had videos. I would try and incorporate videos on a classroom blog like a mini lesson found or made by me like a mini lesson on something they need to do online or watch a video and explain it deeper to a child in notes.

I liked overall the idea of a blog for a classroom. I would like to try and incorporate a blog in a classroom. I would also add pictures from my classroom and or something that has to do what lesson needed to be learned that week or that day. I would up date it and teach the children how to respond. I would also link other news and website that may help the children expand their learning capabilities. Overall thinking and reading and researching the blogs and the point of blogs, is sharing news and getting feed back from others. This would be good for students and as a teacher getting feed back to know they are knowing what they are doing and making sure they are picking up certain context.
